 This triptych was commissioned for the opening of the new building at St Richards Hospital Trust, Chichester in 1997. The theme for this triptych was "Downland to the Sea". Observations of windows and doorways from the Chichester area contain finely stitched fragments based on the local landscape. The work is hung on a stairway landing, and can be approached from below or above. The windows and doorways provide focal points from both directions. |
